Introduction to Android






Android is an open source software toolkit for mobile phones and tablets that was created by google and Open Handset Alliance. 


Android is an Linux based operating system which is initially developed by Andy Rubin in oct 2003 at Palo Alto , California United States . In 2005 google has acquired android incorporation. Google has launched the first beta version of Android Software Development Kit (SDK) in 2007 and the first commercial version of android is 1.0(Alpha) in 2008 september . Android is primarily designed for smart phones and tablets. Later on google has launched the Android Tv for television , Android Auto for Automobiles and Android wear for wrist watch.
